This block of the month quilt is a unique collection of twelve different blocks inspired by traditional Mexican Talavera tiles. This style of enameled earthenware dates back to the 16^th century and is strongly influenced by the Orient, Italian Renaissance, the Moors, Spain and the native people of Mexico. Talavera style pottery is produced in many different regions of the country and results in a variety of different designs and colors.

The quilt measures 51” x 68” when complete. The quilt can be enlarged by adding additional borders. An optional pattern #13 is included, with yardage requirements and instructions to create a 73” x 90” finished quilt.

LAS CRUCES Pattern Set

LAS CRUCES is Spanish for “The Crosses”. This block of the month quilt is a unique collection of twelve different cross patterns. Each appliquéd cross block has a narrow accent border and an appliquéd border inspired by a traditional Spanish tinwork frame design.

The quilt measures 56” x 74” when complete. The quilt can be enlarged by adding additional borders. An optional pattern #13 is included, with yardage requirements and instructions to create an 81” x 99” finished quilt.

The appliquéd sashing adds to the Spanish Colonial look of the quilt.

NAVAJO SARAPE Pattern Set

NAVAJO SARAPE is a collection of twelve different row designs inspired by Native American weaving designs. Each row is pieced using rotary cutting and machine piecing techniques.

The quilt measures 80” x 90”, as shown on the front cover. The yardage requirements and instructions to create a 96” x 100” quilt are included in this pattern.

OLD NAVAJO SAMPLER I is a collection of 12 different pieced quilt blocks. Each block measures 15” finished. These blocks were inspired by a variety of different Native American weaving designs. Each block is pieced using simple rotary cutting and machine piecing techniques.

The finished quilt measures 45” x 60”, as shown on the front cover. The yardage requirements and instructions are included for optional sashing and borders. The finished quilt measures 57” x 73 1/2” with sashing and borders.
